A Great Website
The International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) is a great website for finding children's books written in many languages. Some books even have an audio feature. Some books are bilingual (written in two languages.) The website is free! This link will take you to the 'simple search' page and you can start hunting for a good book!
We were happy to see that some of our students participated in Summer Reading this summer! Way to go! Reading in the summer kept up their reading skills, and was also fun to do!
Our Wonderful Local Libraries!
We hope that every student at our school will get a public library card from the Prince William County Library system. The nearest branch to our school is Potomac Library on Opitz Blvd. We know the students and their families will enjoy many great services, resources, and books at the Prince William Public Library. The branches also offer many special programs for all ages! You can go online to find the library card application, or stop by Potomac Library in person, to apply for a library card.

Reading is FUNdamental!
Our school participates in the Reading is Fundamental program (R.I.F.). Through this program, every student in our school receives a free book. The books are provided through the support of the U.S. Department of Education, corporations, foundations, community organizations, and thousands of individuals.
We will have two book distributions this year. For more information about the R.I.F. Program of Northern Virginia see:
